Hallal Food, Excellent, We had lunch at Ittadi in Jackson Heights recently — there were five of us — and it was a really satisfying experience. The restaurant is located right on 37th Road, in the heart of the Bangladeshi and South Asian community in Queens, and it’s a popular spot for good reason. The moment we walked in, the place felt busy but welcoming. The setup is casual, more like a diner or cafeteria-style restaurant, but the service was fast and the staff were friendly. We didn’t have to wait long to find seating even with our group. The menu has a wide range of authentic Bangladeshi dishes — from biryani and curries to kababs and traditional sweets. Between the five of us, we tried chicken biryani, beef curry, shingara, chicken roast, and daal — everything was flavorful and cooked just right. The beef curry and the biryani were definitely standouts. The portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable considering the quantity and taste. We also tried a few sweets afterward — roshogolla and misti doi — which were fresh and a great way to end the meal. It honestly felt like home-cooked food, and everyone in our group agreed that we’d come back again. If you're in Jackson Heights and craving authentic Bangladeshi food in a no-fuss setting, Ittadi is definitely worth a visit. It's perfect for both a quick bite or a relaxed lunch with friends or family. Highly recommended for the taste, value, and variety!

I bought some dessert here to take home. It was quick, fast and very good service. I read some complains about the food (mostly meal service from the back of the store) but I think the lady serve in the front is wonderful. Its little costly i must say. But it taste really good.

Food is always great at Ittadi. But, They charge 15% gratuity. So, try not to dine in. Bring cash to pay the bill, it will save you the tax on the bill. Last but not least, if you decide to take out food for home for later after you dine in, they will charge you 15% gratuity on that amount as well. So if you want to take food home, first pay the dine in bill and then on your way out order the food in the register. It will save you tons.

First time trying Bangladeshi food and this place had a nice assortment. The food was served quickly and had nice flavors. They add tip to the bill automatically, 15%. A bit expensive for the price considering food was served on paper plates with plastic utensils.

Tried mix platter vorta, coral curry and hilsha fry with rice. Mix platter had several types of vorta. Liked them all. The hilsha fry was okay but could be more fresh.

It's a clean, family-friendly restaurant . The food is really good. The beef biriani is excellent. It's very budget friendly. It's always busy. And the staff is very friendly. I live in CT, and every time we go to the JFK airport, we go to this place.
